Health News / Resunga Municipality has provided Gulmi Hospital with a Si-am machine worth 2.8 million for orthopedic surgery.
On Tuesday, the municipality handed over the machine to the orthopedic specialist at Rohwar of Gulmi Hospital Development Committee Chairman.
Khildhwaj Panthi, head of Resunga municipality, said that the machine was handed over to the Gulmi hospital in the district headquarters to facilitate orthopedic services.
Due to the lack of specialist doctors in Gulmi Hospital, patients with orthopedic problems had to go outside the district.
After the arrival of the orthopedic specialist at Gulmi Hospital, the municipality has provided service facilities equal to the salary to keep the doctor going. There was a problem with the lack of manpower and necessary machinery when providing orthopedic services for patients.
Orthopedic specialist Dr. Pradeep Sivakoti said that after the municipality provides the C-arm machine, it will be easy to provide more services.
Mayor Panthi said that no patient should be deprived of services due to the lack of necessary materials in the hospital and stressed that everyone should consider Gulmi Hospital as my hospital and continue to provide services in an efficient manner. Earlier, on the initiative of the municipality, five dialysis machines worth more than 65 lakhs have been handed over to Gulmi Hospital.
With the support of Resunga Municipality, Orthopedic services and Gyno specialist services are also being conducted in Gulmi Hospital.
The C-AM machine handover program was attended by Resunga Municipality Deputy Chief Amrutadevi Kunwar, Chief Administrative Officer Hari Prasad Aryal, Gulmi Hospital Chief Dr. Rajendra JC, public representatives and others.
